Warranty Policy

All Max & John products are warrantied against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase.  After evaluating the issue and confirming the defect, we will replace or repair the product (at our sole discretion) free of charge.

If the product can be repaired, we ask that you return it to our facility for repair (“return to base” repair).  In some cases we may offer a “field” repair service where we will provide parts and instruction for simple repairs, but only with your approval.  Return shipping to customers outside of the USA must be paid by the customer.

Our warranty does not cover failure or damage resulting from abnormal use, misuse, general wear and tear, negligence, fading, or damage from exposure to environmental conditions (including prolonged exposure of rubber items to sunlight or other UV light sources).  Please note that modifying a product without authorization will void this warranty.

If your product is outside of our repair period or does not meet these terms, we will be glad to repair it for a small charge if repair is possible.

Any loss, consequential loss or damage to any person or property directly or indirectly as a result of using our product is expressly excluded from this warranty.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by a sales receipt to verify the date and place of purchase. Only the original owner is covered by this warranty.  For warranty service please contact:

Baby Gripper warranty note: wooden furniture can fade or discolor when placed in direct sunlight - just like a rug on a hardwood floor, extended placement of a changing pad or any other item on furniture that is exposed to direct sunlight can create an “unfaded” pattern on the furniture.  This warranty expressly does not cover this type of damage.  Fine furniture should be kept out of direct sunlight.
